I have almost stopped calling the hotline because JD spends too much of the time in a cheerleading session about "our really great stocks". I want him to spend all the time talking about the problem stocks and about any special opportunities. It seems to me that we have been in a market top for a number of months in the US and also in Europe. I would love for him to talk realistically about that, and about steps that could be taken to take or protect gains. I sold several of my high P-E European stocks last week. The way this week has gone, I may wish I had sold more of them.
