Well it was just a matter of time. Lucent was eating Cienas lunch and red flags were going up all over the place. Now I know why Mory was hesitant in saying they are aligning with Ciena to interoperate with their DWDM equipment. Does not look too good for Cisco since they had aligned with Ciena (now proved to be the loser in the DWDM marketplace) and no where else to go. Lucent aint sharing their DWDM expertise with Cisco, no way ! -hitesh
