Ian,

Despite your name calling and over-sensitive reaction to my post, I will not go away. I thought my post was reasonable and it was meant to spur debate about NN, not to piss you off.

LMCS requires radios at the customer and service providers' end. The radios connect to an NIU (network interface unit), which at the client's end will likely connect to a PBX for voice and a router for data. At the service provider's side, the NIU connect to an ATM swtitch, which then passes the data traffic to a router (likely an ISP) and the voice traffic to the PSTN. My point was that in this configuration, WELL OVER 50 % of the cost is with the RF COMPONENTS. NN does not manufacture RF radios and Alcatel does; therefore I am assuming that ALA will get at least half the revenue from these contracts. I stand by my math. NN may have primed the contracts, but that doesn't mean NN will be getting all the revenue.

But enough said. If your too close minded about a contrarian opinion, I suggest you start a "Lovers of NN" thread. I promise not to post there !!

Cheers,

Peppe
