<< Clinton's appointment of so many capable women to high positions has made me think twice about my Republican party registration.>>

I switched to Libertarian quite a while ago. Neither party reflects my views, and too many of those appointments are political in nature. I agree that many have been competent, but you would be better served pushing the party that reflects your views to shape up in those areas where they don't. Sounds hypocritical of me, since I switched parties, but neither party even remotely represents me. If your differences are relatively few, work to fix the Republican attitudes.

I'm pro-choice, but anti-abortion, anti gun-control, pro environment, anti-EPA, pro civil rights, anti affirmative action, in favor of tough sentencing for violent crime, but anti death penalty, a staunch feminist and in favor of homosexual rights, but against treating gender or sexual preference as a protected category. Who could represent me???!!! Above everything else, I believe in individual rights and individual responsibility. Less government and more personal involvement in the community. Which party should I support?
