I also just called WorldCom and Cable and Wireless and told them what the Birdbrain said. They decided to pull up 5000 miles of undersea cable they are laying in the Pacific citing the fact that AT&T has become the only player in the telecom industry. Rumor has it that the telebras breakup was just a massive scam and that every company who bought any part of it has been taken to the cleaners. MarkC.
