How people think Stein leaving is going to help vlsi is completely bewildering to me. By itself, this would be a disaster. Of course, with the right replacement it could be good, but I haven't heard one name suggested, and I doubt anyone is available in this tight market, except maybe Gil Amelio...(laughs). 'Al Stein ousted by shareholder lawsuit' is that the headline you folks want to see? Maybe if you're short. What's funny to me is how bullish this thread was recently at 18-20 and how bearish it's become at 12.., and what's changed? Have we lost contracts? Is there a trend away from wireless? Has the world had it's fill of chips? Look back at the last conf call and you'll see plenty of things to be optimistic about. If vlsi was a buy at 18 it is a red hot screaming buy right now. later.., -Kevin PS. anyone surprised at 12, wasn't around in '96
