Well Kevin, Timing is something acquired through many distasteful experiences. Continues to be a hard task and always will..Just when you think you got it, your about to learn another lesson.

Personally I find it much harder to time a BUY than to sell near the TOP. The reason is that, I have learned to control my GREED to a higher degree than a few years ago by using a Trailing Mental Stop Loss. That is nothing more than a FIRM set price to SELL, as the stock moves higher & higher the Mental Sell price follows until profit taking overrides buying. When that occurs you will be faced with you mental price and if GREED is controled, you follow through and SELL..

BUYING (for me) is much harder, I always want the bottom but I;ve learned it's not often attainable unless a little luck comes your way.
If I used FNTN as an example, I would just say that experience has taught me that just as sure as there is a FAST RUN UP, the buying WILL stop and profit taking WILL commence. Well, turn that right around (first making sure there is NO negative news) If there is a FAST sell off the SELLING will usually bottom out and if one is watching close they can use experience as a guide to BUY.
In todays trading, when FNTN dipped to $.98 cents, I thought I might get the opportunity to buy as low as $.75 which is a traget I had in my mind...Because with previous profits there's no way I could possibly loose. BUT just as quick as I saw buying pop it right back up over $1.00 I jumped in but only bought half as much as I would have at $.75 cents...Reason was because in risky situations like that, I might have to average down..So I sit with half the position. That is OK, cause I would have NEVER owned any more were it not for this opportunity. Had my mind made up that I would buy no higher than $1.12, experience has taught me plenty of PATIENCE and I PAID for ALL those lessons.

Timing is very hard, I would have NEVER believed that (FONR) could be bought under $2.00 but I recently bought @ $1.75. I "Think" that is Fonar's bottom but hey, I began to think I might see $1.50 :^)

OK Kevin,
I'm not dumb either, I know your were being politely sarcastic with this question. That's OK, I understand, but when you sit and watch them all trade day in and day out, They ALL show you almost the same action. After a while, you begin to notice simular signals, putting that to ACTION is called SPECULATION.
When you get fooled, it's called BAD TIMING ;^)
So far TIMING on FNTN has been SUPERB, Grand, elevated, exalted, & lofty.

Regards,
Malcolm
