Although PEC is holding its own, the share price, in my view fairly reflects the company's value. Investors had high expectations from PEC and the Company did not live up to those high hopes. In this case, the Company is penalized to a certain degree. As well, the new largest shareholder, Chesapeake is having problems of its own, which may also affect PEC's price, as Chesapeake is a drilling partner.

PEC will need to come up with better drilling results before it attracts investors.
