enigma...that war was a no win from day one....In reading the Part 1 and Part 2 on Sadaam Hussein...she brought up the slant drilling that Kuwait or drillers had done into the Iraqi oil fields...she stated that they wanted 10 Billion dollars in payment for the approximate 8 years of illegal syphoning of that oil....But before the invasion of Kuwaite, Saddam was said to have filed a suit in the World Court for trebble damages of 30 Billion Dollars for that oil....and the State of Iraq was refused to be heard....the brief was thrown out and the invasion was about to begin....and how the west ever interpreted that he would attempt to take Saudi Arabia is beyond my imagination.... I fought this war at the time...with neighbors and friends...and lost friends over it....they wanted to Nuke him....and I asked them why.... ah but war settles the situation....we will get rid of him....BS... I said that the world will never allow or condone the nuking of the birth place and archeological birthplace of 3 of the most prominent religions in the world....Judaism, Christianity and Islam...Karen
