Hi,
I read the BKR release. A 3mmcf/d well in the foothills is barely economic. Not counting 'tie in costs', and assuming a dollar a thousand net, and assuming wells are ~$3mm Canadian to drill and complete, this well is at least a three payout. Seeing how the juniors are carried on an after payout basis, it could be awhile before they see any decent revenue from here. A 20 mmcf/d gas well would be alot better(lets hope they get one on their next well). However, maybe some renewed drilling activity, and hopefully higher gas and oil prices, will generate some market interest and higher share prices with some liquidity.
regards,
teevee
