I don't understand the new CEO. First he warns of possible weakness and then, 3 weeks later, is confident. Then they are forced to write down 190 mil as it is accured, which would be negative for near term earnings. Does anyone know when MCD expects to get it's big growth from..I thought they were looking at Asia, ect, but now I hear it's all domestic. Hard to imagine a lot of domestic growth given how cut throat the competition is here. The stock has risen dramatically this year....are they just supporting it with buy backs, etc? comments anyone??
