A hot swappable pug in card, the MMX 8000 is a component of Harmonic's Transend digital headend. In addition to its MPEG-2 multiplexing function, it provides broadcasters flexible control over transport streams, including Program Specific Information and System Information selection and the ability to multiplex digital video and high speed data transport streams.
