DELL to sell direct in China. A brief note from Austin American-Statesman, Saturday, August 22, Weekly Business Review, page 2. Two weeks after it started shipping computers from its new Chinese plant, Dell Computer Corp. announced it will launch its direct-sales method in nine Chinese cities.
