Seriously though, knowing your audience only means that you are aware of whether you are talking to others in your area of expertise, who will understand the vocabulary, or are talking to the average layman, who might not.
Hope this clears it up. Why would I denigrate the people who helped make this thread I started so, uh, er, ah,......voluminous?
