Your statement assumes that what you had was *BEER* to begin with, eh?
I would not hang that title on the horrid little offering in the clear bottle....unless one widens the definition to include various and sordid "effluent" from the Mexico City Public Works Dept. (which is no where near the standards of ours suffice to say)

The only decent beer available is that which is brewed in one's home, from scratch, with purified water and malted barley of impeccable origins....where nary a *single* rodent hair, much less the hindquarters of various road kill, is allowed into the mash tun.

I don't drink store bought beer for the same reason I would never take a hit of "street acid". If I can't make it (and that covers *MANY* things) it ain't going in this boy's stomach!
