I will preface this by saying that I am long SSGI. At the same time I am a bit nervous because I have been burned so many times before by small cap companies announcing deals, letters of intent, etc. and not following through. I don't understand why SSGI or any other company needs to inform shareholders in advance of any unsigned deal and also to use an "unnamed company" as the other entity. To be honest it just sounds too shady. I would much prefer SSGI wait until the deal is completed and then surprise investors with the finalized news. At the very least I don't understand why they cannot give the company's name out directly. Why do they have to keep it secret? Hate to be negative, just ventilating a bit. You might say why not sell if I'm so concerned. Then I'd miss out on what can be a huge gain if the thing pans out. But I sure hope we aren't being taken for a ride on this one. Seen it happen too many damn times. Some of you may be familiar with PKGP/USXP. Or another one I'm still in: AAFG. These are just the tip of the iceberg of announced deals that were never finalized and the stock collapsed as a result.
