ok, I cant take it anymore. Where do the American people stand on this issue. The press is telling me that 60% of the public think we should just drop the whole issue. It is a "private" matter. ON the other hand, 90% of the people I talk to at work, or read on this thread, or overhear at the health club, think that the President has committed a crime. He has lied to the American people under oath, and this crime should not go unpunished. Some think that this is just the tip of the iceberg (i.e., deeper, we find Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, contributions etc). Others think that Bill is THE President of the United States, and his life is not private. Others think that his actions reflect his [lack of] judgement. Whatever...opinions such as these are NOT what I hear in the news or read in the paper. What is going on? Is the press still in love with the President, or am I simply listening to a small minority of the public.
What is going on here?
