Cool, memery. To complete the brief article, I'm with the Babe on this one.

The Fabulous Market Babe replies: Bill, comments like these tend to inflame the customers, if not the general public. Next time, perhaps you should keep them to yourself.

Or, to quote myself on an old favorite Microphile attack, the whining crybaby sore winner should just shut up. It'd be a lot harder to post sarcastic comments about Microsoft if Bill wasn't so often quoted saying ridiculous things. "I don't care about the stock price". "All I care about is great software". "I'm just a software engineer". War is peace, ignorance is strength and "Windows is open".

And on my favorite topic, the various antitrust travails, I really wonder if it would be much of a topic at all if Microsoft took the Intel approach and just let the lawyers handle it. I sure wouldn't have much to say on the topic then, it's just not very entertaining without all those good extra-legal PR lines to make fun of.
"Microsoft must be free to imitate, er, intimidate, um, integrate, I mean, innovate!" Yeah, that's the ticket, innovate. That's what Microsoft is famous for.

Cheers, Dan.
