Now this is a case study worth pursuing. What sort of viewing
mode? Is this DOS (I gather you still run a lot of DOS stuff).
If it wasn't a PII, I'd suspect caching, but (I'm told) that's
not a problem with PII chipsets. Maybe that's wrong.

We should disect this here if you have the time--if we have
the time <g>--I haven't had a heck of a lot of time lately,
but this is fascinating (of course, I can afford for it to
be fascinating; I expect for you it's enfuriating). I'm
clueless but curious.
