Mr. Chicken,
I never said brokers illegally short stocks. I said that there are illegally obtained shares in the float. There is a short position of 2.2MM shares. How do we know this? We know how many illegally obtained shares were snuck into the float. This is why AZNT has gone to these extremes to cleanse the AZNT market.
FWIW, a broker/MM is required to short a stock.
