>My employer used the trap method like you've suggested last year. He was bringing one in a day for about a week while he was utilizing the trap. I thought by now I would have sufficient caging around my main garden area and wouldn't have to deal with it this year. Also, the squirrels hadn't really been bothering the plants this year. Guess I should have known that wouldn't last.

Just saw a show on PBS by Jerry Baker, "America's Master
Gardner". He makes a number of plant tonics, etc out
of common household ingredients such as mouthwash, ammonia,
epson salts, etc. He has a mixture to repell rabbits, and
other pests made of tobacco juice, very hot hot sauce, alum,
human urine, and something else. Anyone else ever heard
of him?

Guess I'll hit the bookstore next week and see if they
have any of his books, to get the exact ingredents.
