Can someone fill me in on why USW is such a POS company? I am trying to get a couple of phone lines into my new house in Central OR and USW told me, before the strike, that their are no circuits available??? Can anyone believe that in the US? Have they been sitting on their thumbs for the last 10 years? It sounds like, from reading this board, if I ever get a land line into my house, don;t use USW internet services, right? I don't have cable TV out where I live, so no joy on using cable modems.Has anyone tried a satellite TV internet provider? Do they exist? I am really having trouble believing states don't let some other telephone services come in and lay parallel services and lines with the shitty record USW has. No one lives them in customer land from what I can hear. Comments?
