Here is a ray of sunshine for the stockholders of Inprise San Francisco has been using JBuilder from the early days, so I am not sure why it should suddenly become significant. Apart from that, San Francisco has an "Open Tools Strategy", so it may have been simply a timing issue - Cringely may like to check out the following: ibm.com david
