Trey,

It is nice to meet someone from UT here. Any guesses on Longhorns this season?

Supposed you bought an APPLE II PC and no one wanted to support it, what would you think as a customer? That is why new deployment of ADSL services have avoid CAP-ADSL(just imagine how you feel if you move to somewhere else with a CAP-ADSL modem and find out no one supports CAP-ADSL). From what I know, some RBOCs are looking for new solutions for their ADSL deployment after about one year or so trials. The main concerns for them are 1) which technology to go with, DMT-ADSL, DMT-ADSL G.Lite, or something else; 2) new generation DSLAMs which shall have higher port density and act as both DSLAMs and true ATM switches. That is why I will not jump into WSTL before it has a complete next generation DMT-ADSL solutions available. If WSTL can deliver what they promised in a year from today, it shall be in a great position to grow with the booming ADSL markets.

Regards,
