It is if they are marginable or not. Not if they are BB's.

Even if there was a US law (SEC)-- it does not mean squat outside of the US.

I have had this same discussion numerous times on SI-- my full service broker says I can short them, but I need GOBS of cash. He also says you can use the 3 day settlement rule. Also, you can short your own stock because you already have possession.

Again-- SHOW ME THE LAW! I think it is another SI myth...
