TA,
I didn't use MB on Friday, but I got screwed trying to daytrade TLAB in an extremely fast market. I was on the phone with Fido, and we tried chasing the stock. I first tried to buy at about 60 1/2, no report back (it was off automated), so cancelled and replaced at 61, again at 62, then tried fewer shares at 63 (hoping that it was an autofill at 63). No autofill (whatever that is), but I got the shares, only to watch the thing turn around. I got out at a small loss using a market order.
In contrast, CIEN was trading slower and I was able to get in with a rapid report back (seconds), and then wait during an upmove, and then get out with a rapid report back.
I guess my question, here, is whether MB can have this problem as well. That is, apparently Fido experiences times when stocks are taken off an "automated" system and fills are done manually (I guess) and therefore the reports back are slow.
