Hi Vaughn!

It appears that things are starting to heat up even more in Africa. The latest news on CBC is that Angola has now taken sides. It appears that they have now sided with Kabila in that mess in the Congo. The broadcast claimed that Angolan troops had taken over an airport and military base from the Rebels. The Airport is near the border between Angola and the Republic of Congo.

The commentator suggested that Angola was concerned that UNITA and the Rebels would join forces if the Rebels won. There are now two countries supporting the Rebels and two countries supporting Kabila. All countries involved border the Republic of Congo.

The concern now, is that the war will keep growing and bring in even more countries into the conflict.

Cheers !!! Peter
