I think we owe billg a debt of gratitude.

One thing that I was afraid of is that Microsoft would surprise us and do the smart thing, ie. shut up and let the lawyers handle it. That would remove 99% of the entertainment value. When was the last time anyone was able to poke fun at Intel re their legal problems?

But Bill will be Bill and I think he'll remain true to form and refuse to let the legal types squash his inherent right to free speech, including the right to make really stupid remarks like the one referenced above. That and the almost certain knowledge that Bill is riding herd on the lawyers and running MS's defense himself will continue to provide some good chuckles as the case moves slowly forward.

"Microsoft must be free to imitate, er, intimidate, um, integrate, I mean, innovate!"
And Bill must be free to speak his, um, mind.
