Sex is as much a part of being a human (or an animal for that matter) as is hearing, walking or seeing. Why not deny coverage to drugs that will prevent people from going blind? After all, it doesn't effect their life expectancy. The position of insurers like Kaiser is absurd. Eventually all of these insurers will be forced to offer programs that cover drugs to treat any recognized medical condition including impotence. The cheapest insurance, and therefore the best from insurers standpoint would be one that encouraged people to die as quickly as possible as soon as they started getting any serious problems.
