THE INTERNET NEWS IS RELEASED BUT IN A DOWN MARKET. JUST WAIT UNTIL AMZN NEWS FOLLOWS. homepage.usr.com

1- KEN CRANES is a great company that began in direct mail and leveraged that success to INTERNET SALES. They did $18 million total sales last year.... so with the GROWTH that is occuring in DVD and with IMAGE's WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION powers, plus increasing popularity of internet shopping, it is reasonable to assume that CRANES can contribute 23-25 million in revenue during 1999. With 10% to the bottom line.... that leads us to accretive earnings per share of 15-18 cents.

Considering IMAGE made 2 cents last quarter, CRANES gives Image a real shot at increasing their earnings per share a 100% or more next year. I think that is something to talk about!!!

2- As for AMAZON, the bottom line is that JOHN KLUGE and his partner SUBOTNIK OWN 41% of DISK. SUBOTNIK SITS ON THE BOARD OF AMAZON.COM. There is a natural fit for AMAZON TO BE THE FRONT END and IMAGE to be the back end. Image can distribute books for AMAZON, but more importantly AMAZON could begin to offer cd's, DVD, videos, via IMAGE'S WAREHOUSE. The warehouse will be operational within 30 days. AMAZON surely would not enter the picture until warehouse distribution was up and running and working as planned. There is a real connection there and any real investors on the street (funds, big board analysts) surely are aware of SUBOTNIK'S ties with AMAZON.COM. Honda was not alone on that conference call, there were big firms like PAINE WEBBER and 20 or more mutual fund managers.
