There is no evidence that Microsoft has slowed down either its development of Active Directory, or its marketing of Active Directory to its major accounts. While NDS is clearly better than Active Directory, and out sooner, Microsoft's traditional method is to push their own solution come hell or high water. Unless someone can point to a change in this methodology, I have to conclude that Microsoft is not currently planning on licensing NDS or buying Novell. Microsoft is "locked in" to NT 5.0 and Active Directory.
