I have a question for MBTrading users:

I've been told that the MBTrading Level II screen displays the market maker quotes either in color or in gray. In addition, beside the market maker symbol, there is a market maker status, indicated by either "O", "L", "K" or "P".

Could someone please explain to me what the letter statuses mean and the significance of the market maker begin shown in color or gray?
