I applied to BellSouth about two weeks ago for ADSL service, which is coming to New Orleans area in "late August." After a week or so I heard nothing from them, called on the phone and couldn't find anyone who knew anything about it, sent them an email asking for someone "in-the-know" to call me, but haven't heard anything. Then, a couple of days ago, I got an email from BellSouth saying my area was getting it and it "seemed" like I might qualify and they would contact me later. Such a beauacracy, but I feel that I may have ADSL soon, then will have "different" technical problems with which to deal. But I'm sure it will be fun. <g>
