You gotta be kidding... those are *US* numbers and they clearly highlight Qualcomm's Achilles heel. The company has 17% US market share which translates into less than 3% global market share. Siemens has almost 30% of the German market... that won't save it from becoming marginalized in the future, either. The division of the American market cuts both ways, BTW. GSM and TDMA are projected to have nearly 50% of the US market in 2002... a huge market from which Qualcomm is locked out. Surprisingly enough, I see only one winner in this situation.
