Given the constraint that AMD is trying to penetrate market share of the entrenched leader, what specifically do you think they are doing stupidly? (Losing money doesn't count. That's an effect, not a cause). ;-)
What would you do differently? (Firing Jerry doesn't count. ;-) Too easy an answer and doesn't address the path their on). Is their price strategy wrong? If so, what would you do for a price strategy?
Seem's to me if a company were really acting stupidly, the stupid decisions should be very obvious and the more intelligent plan more apparent. I view them as a continuing threat, and as having changed the playing field dramatically over the past few quarters.
So in that light, it's hard for me to identify the stupidity.
But if you enlighten me, I might feel a lot more comfortable about Intel.
