Brian, thanks for the info. So AOL is already offering 56 in some places? Sounds good. Your "speculation" is interestinf as well. You may be dead right about AOL pushing x2 through their marketing arm. I used AOL for awhile and remember how they used to "tempt" you with all kinds of goodies as you signed on. I certainly "impulse bought" a few things (games mostly) when they popped up in front of me. AND like you say, "they already have your credit card". Jeff BTW, there are 12 step programs for AOL users.<g> On a serious note though, I may just have to spring for the extra $9.95 if it will get me my 56. Looks like AOL is more competitive now. Used to be the only game in town and they nickel and dimed me to death.
