Cube,

It's not that I'm necessarily a quick learner, it's more that you're using one of my own indicators for the system. A system that stared me in the face for years and I never picked up on it. I'm sure glad some astute characters attend those seminars of mine. There's always something.
Like just the other day when it struck me that there is very likely a mirror image-like version of the PGDCEB for nailing shorts. Gap up 30% and go to a new post gap high on volume greater than at least each of the 3 previous days (got that Ivan?).
I've found that the biggest problem with the PGDCEB as a system is that in order for it to conform to historical statistical results, ALL signals have to be played. Otherwise, there is too much randomness introduced. If 8 stocks signal in 2 weeks and you only buy 3 or 4 of them, you might just buy the 3 or 4 that don't take off. The system produces nearly 400 buy signals per year. It appears that in order to take full advantage of it, one would have to start with approximately $100,000.00 and put $5,000.00 minimum into each signal. I'm in the process of looking for a backer to enter into an arrangement where the system is entirely automated. All signals would be played working off a program that scans for signals and issues buy and sell orders based on the rules of the system. For an avg. return of just under 9% over an avg. holding period of 9.25 days, it shouldn't be too hard to get it going.
