Thabks for the help. It sounds like the PII is the way to go if she's going to keep the machine for 3 years or so and you don't want to have to upgrade it. The price difference isn't that great. I believe she's going to go with the PII at 300 or 400. In a month or so, the price difference between these two speeds won't be but $100.
