Craig,

Did you notice on Friday's Squawk Box how Jimmy kept saying that all the central banks are cutting back on printing money, and "Alan Greenspan says he's cutting back, but you never know if he's telling the truth"? He might have been hinting at something I emailed him last week.

A smart guy here on Silicon Investor said that he believed the huge amount of T-Bonds ($60 billion) which have been sold by the Japanese this year were not sold on the open market. Instead, Greenspan monetized them, which means he simply printed the money. This is hugely inflationary. I emailed him this rumor, and his reply to me was that he hadn't heard about it, but certainly plans to be attentive for any evidence of this.

Tom.
