From what I can gleam from reading between the lines when talking to the company, it looks like some news may be just around the corner. Insofar as people riding this up and down, there are traders and investors. Those that believe in the company do not want to let go of this stock at mediocre prices only to discover they chose the wrong time to do so and miss the upward move. Most of us that know a little more than you do about the company, its prospects and behind-the-scenes dealings ... use these opportunities to average down. But then, I am an investor. Different viewpoint than a trader, but you are welcome to yours. Anyway, I would not be surprised to see some good news coming out in the next week or two. Supposedly there are some deals that are very close to being signed ... guess we will find out soon enough.
