Recently, Mory E. indicated that he plans to do a number of acquisitions in the next year and he also indicated that he plans to compete with the likes of LU (as opposed to being acquired). In my personal opinion, unless LU wants to launch a hostile takeover, there is no longer any justification for an LU premium, just unfounded optimism. Just my opinion -- appreciated your past efforts at sleuthing those big trades.
