Thomas et. al., I am really excited about this move. Let us hope that the moronic PM's who quickly glance at the near-term prospects of the Ion Implant business make precisely the wrong (albeit, very predictable) decision and punch out the SemiCap "stub" (SSS -- Stinky, Stub Scenario). I enjoy buying used bathwater. I am also happy for the employees north of Beantown. Finally, they will be more accurately/adequately rewarded for their efforts when the cycle turns. It will be interesting to see the compensation plans post-split. In the short-run, my sloth has caused me to "miss-out" on the move in VAR stock. Hopefully, the SSS will more than make up for the "early innings past-ball." Time to do some work.
