I recognize that most of the songs that get perverted by ads are from popular music but classical music takes its hits as well. One of my favorite opera arias is O Mia Bambina Carra. This song has been used repeatedly as background music for at least 5 commercials in the 90s but at least no one messed with the lyrics. Now Polly-O is using it to advertise low fat mozarella and they are screwing around with the lyrics. I want to put my foot through the screen every time it comes on.
