Cayenne Software Licenses the Microsoft Repository
Company Strengthens Integration to Industry-Standard MetaData Storage Facility
BEDFORD, Mass., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Cayenne Software (Nasdaq: CAYN - news), a leading provider of software and data modeling solutions, today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement for the Microsoft Repository. Under this agreement, Cayenne will deliver products which incorporate the Repository in their team-oriented business and systems modeling products.
The company will be using the Microsoft Repository as an underpinning for the multi-user capabilities featured by its acclaimed enterprise modeling products, including:
ObjectTeam, their component-based systems modeling tool BusinessTeam, their business process and data modeling tool DataTeam, their database design tool.
Most of the company's products already support import and export mechanisms from and to the Repository. Incorporating the Repository directly in the products will tighten the integration and will more easily facilitate data exchange with other tools supporting the Repository.
