Pakistan trying to unite Terrorism and creed-report New York Times.

They say that those trained in the Harkat Mujahedeen camp -- the name comes from a Pakistani-based Islamic movement -- are sent to fight in Kashmir, where Pakistani-backed rebels have waged a long war for independence from India, Pakistan's regional enemy.

Harkat Mujahedeen is the name for a group that was called Harkat Ansar until the State Department put it on its list of terrorist groups last year.
