I completely agree for all your stated reasons why Newt said that. But on the flip side, I think there is some real fear among the GOP to actually have to impeach Clinton The House Republicans are in peak form now, but once you get into the mud with Clinton and his crisis response teams, I think the GOP is at a huge disadvantage. Newt would love nothing better than to let this stretch out indefinitely with no closure.
