bd - The poit is whether it is a generally up market? Started out OK up 50/60 points in half and hour and then just fizzled out. and now no strength and heading south in a hurry . What upsets me is that we are ratsheting down. IE when you have a Dow drop well down we go with it. When you have a Dow up well we get some sixteenths and then some 32nds and we never make up what we lost. This Augsut has been simply the most depressing month I've ever had in the markets. Someone on CNBCsaid that everyone is a long term investor as long as he makes short term gains!! Regards, L
