I note that the extraction method and comparison to the maple sap for "Touch of Nature" are very similar to Stevia.
Stevia is a 100% pure and natural product which comes from the sap of
a small Amazon tree, Stevia Rebaudiana. The sap is extracted from
these trees in the same fashion as maple sap is from maple trees. Once
processed, a powder is formed named Steviosidium. This powder has
