Re: The Secret of 'Touch of Nature' is Stevia

From the press release:
'Touch of Nature(TM)'' possesses natural properties that permit its use as an ideal sugar substitute for calorie restricted diets or for those suffering with diabetes. ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' is a delightfully surprising alternative for those individuals who prefer not to use regular sugar or are reluctant to use artificial sweeteners. As a result, ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' may have applications in treatment programs for all forms of diabetes. These properties allow for its use as a sugar substitute in all drinks, hot or cold, as well as your favorite cooking recipes.

Just wondering why AZNT is recommending Stevia, and not 'Touch of Nature' on their web site as a remedy for diabetes? I've cross-checked all the ingredients with the information AZNT provides and there is only one natural sweetener in the list. Hence, I see no evidence that 'Touch of Nature' is anything other than a product derived from the Stevia Rebaudiana tree.

Let's cut through the "name game". Are you saying that 'Touch of Nature' is not derived from the Stevia Rebaudiana tree?

P.S. I called Monsanto's artificial sugar expert. Awaiting a call back.
