Make up your mind. Is it better than most Pentium II's, or barely better than the old Celerons? Actually, to me, the purpose of the two Celerons introduced today is to jack up the performance of the Celeron family. The graph Gene brought in says it all...they have.

The new Celerons are standing tall compared to the old ones. At $139 and $179 in quantity (recall, don't quote me) they look like a very good buy to me. Also, Intel quality, reliability and brand name go a long way.
